Buying a Hugh McDonald Original

I will occasionally host art-shows, with music and refreshments, with new series of works. My last show was at the Fine Kettle 'O' Fish Restaurant in Niagara Falls, Sunday December 1st, 2002.

Some of the works on display on this site are available as prints. For $30.00 Canadian (20.00 US) you will receive a laser color-photocopy numbered and signed by myself. The price includes shipping and taxes where applicable. I accept money-orders, or other arrangements can be worked out.

Commissions you can afford

The portrait at left is done in oils, using several layers over 2 weeks. I also paint in acrylics and egg-tempera, and a mixture of these media. A portrait such as this (11 inches x 14 inches) would cost $160.00 Canadian (100.00 US). This price includes shipping by parcel post to points in the United States and Canada. Payment is accepted in the form of US or Canadian money orders and is required in advance. The price will vary according to the size and other specifications. You should order an oil painting several months in advance if you need it by a specific date. I do not frame or matte pictures, but generally paint pictures at sizes that will fit in a store-bought frame.
